Seems while my computer was down I missed out on a whole lot of good reading on my favourite blogs.
One of those blogs written by Debbie , and one by Buttons , had a surprise ...they were so kind as to award me with this...
What a great honour ladies!
I'm blushing!
The rules seems very simple,7 things you do not know about me and to pass the award along to those who I think deserve it.
1- Most of my friends are 20+ years older then me,some even have children my age.
One of my friends has 30 years on me,she is a great friend and mentor, I truly enjoy her company.
2- Twelve years ago I started my first flower garden with my best friend. That garden is what made me want to farm.
3- When I watch TV it is the food network....I love the show Chopped!
4- I'm deathly allergic to tea,yup tea,strange one I know!
5- I love buffalo and can't wait to get back to Nebraska so I can see them up close again.
They are magnificent creatures. I would love to own one...
6- Something about snow makes me happy. It is so clean and fresh,I guess it makes everyone slow down and enjoy life.
7-I love the smell of freesia, line dried linens, fresh bread and my hubby....

ReplyDeleteYou named some excellent blogs there and a few I need to go check out. Yours is one of the most interesting blogs I look forward to viewing (your spectacular cows have me hooked!) Congratulations, and very well deserved, dear Farmer!
Thank you so much for the award! And the blogs you recommend are very interesting -- just like yours. Thanks for the great list. I do have to say, I never thought cattle were cute until I started following your blog. Now I think they are adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the kind words. I love reading your blog, keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, but I also have already been gifted this award. But I am very flattered. You have listed some blogs that I am going to have to check out. I do enjoy your blog very much, you have such excellent photos of your farm and animals. And I think you could quite possibly have THE cutest calves I have ever seen. Just look at your header picture. So cute.
ReplyDeleteI have been gifted too, but that does not mean I don't appreciate your thoughtfulness and flattering description of my Journal. I also read Leontien, Aspen Meadows and of course I love your blog. Tina (one of my art students) is almost finished with the drawing of your cow and calf. I will be sure to send it to you when it is complete! Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words, I sure want to work my way up to you Highland Cattle!
